Having started out with construction landscaping, otherwise known as hardscaping, Matthew officially started his own company, C&M Remodeling in 1998 after transitioning into residential home renovations, later segueing into furniture design and building, and commercial work, most notably the boutique Hotel Indigo.  In 2014, the company name was changed to Artisan Building Services to reflect a truer, more appropriate name for the services provided.  Matthew believes we are products of our environment that, when optimized with both form and function, allows us to experience the true nature of beauty.
